Retaining as many trees on the site boundaries as possible and new landscaping proposals
Lidl has an ongoing commitment to enhance the environmental sustainability of its stores. A range of technology is used in store to minimise energy use, while rapid electric vehicle charging bays are provided in the car park and solar panels are on the store’s roof
The proposals also include up to 20 residential apartments, including affordable housing, on land to the south of the store building. We will be seeking outline planning approval for this section of the site, with detailed proposals to come forward at a later date.
